Oh Hello, Remember Me?

It has been about 3 weeks since I've logged in to Blogger.
To say that it has been crazy since I got back from Florida would be an understatement. I hit the ground running and have finally had time to stop and think about the last few weeks. At this point, my fingers have been itching to blog, and I'm really excited to share some fun things with you all over the next few weeks!

What have I been up to since the last time I posted?

|| one ||
I was an epic failure trying to reach my October goals. I guess thats what happens when life gets in the way.

|| two ||
I went to Florida to see my beautiful family.
This is literally my favorite place to be -- in between these two babes!

Some of my favorite ladies.

|| three ||
We got a new foster pup, Lucas.

|| four ||
Raised over $1000 at work for Breast Cancer Research at White Plains Hospital with a fashion show featuring looks from our store!

|| five ||
Celebrated my best friend's birthday in the city.
Loved seeing her. Loved that NYC can almost make a rail like TOTS. Loved catching up with two of my favorite Hokies.
Hated that we had to watch Duke dominate VT.

|| six ||
Fell in love with the new Resort collection at work, and may have emptied half my bank account on cozy cashmere, travel pants, and white jeans. Who needs to save money, anyway?

A Quick Catch Up

I literally have not logged in to Blogger since September 12th, and I feel kind of ashamed about it. The last few weeks have been nothing short of crazy, but I do know that tons has happened in my life since then.

A mini synopsis.

|| one ||
We drove to North Carolina for my brother's Parent's Weekend to watch my Hokies beat ECU! I learned that I certainly cannot pretend I'm in college anymore. This 25 year old body does not recover like a 21 year old body.

|| two ||
All flights are booked for Family Reunion 2013. I can happily say that eight days from today I will happily be lounging by the pool with some of my favorite babes in the world.

|| three ||
My future roomie and I finally started the great apartment hunt. Even through the pouring rain (and a few scary finds), we have made a dent in the apartment market and have a better idea of what we're looking for. Hopefully a lease will be signed before the holidays!

|| four ||
Speaking of apartment hunting, I've started collecting ideas for our future abode. I have a really hard time not picking up little knick knacks when I'm out, but starting October 1, I may just not be able to help myself!

|| five ||
Who else is obsessed with The Blacklist? Oh my word, I am 100% addicted! Fall TV is the best, but I'm starting to have way too many things to keep track of.. Thank goodness PLL doesn't come back until January!

Shenanigans.

I can't even simply call this "weekend" shenanigans because it has been so long since I last posted. Poor Monograms and Margaritas has been neglected for almost 2 weeks. Not cool.

Things have gotten crazy lately. Since August 14th...

I booked my flights to go to my family reunion in Florida! Only a few weeks left until my butt is back at the beach!

I shopped the Lilly Online ESS and didn't get a thing. My (future) roomie did snag a tablecloth and some napkins for our (future) apartment!

I've been working at our store on Madison Avenue (commuting into NYC on a daily basis is something that I never, ever care to do) for a few days to help out, and am headed out to the Hamptons for a few weeks (!!!) in September. I'm starting to think that I'll be a nomad before fall gets here.

I came down with some sort of hell-like flu. I'm not sure what caused it, but all I know is that I laid on the couch for two solid days unable to move. It HAS to be what death feels like (or close to it).

I went to the Duchess County Fair and saw the Eli Young Band! The venue was tiny, and we couldn't have been more than 20 rows from the stage. Certainly a better view than we had when we saw them at MetLife stadium! I also got to have a corn dog and some fried oreos. Country fair food at it's finest!

I can't remember the last time I was this sleep deprived. Now taking donations for a spa day to relax as well as to hire someone to clean my room. That is s.c.a.r.y!
